One day this kid will get larger: Friends, Family & Longterm Survival Screening and Conversation with Jennie Brier and Oli Rodriguez, featuring special slide-show presentation of Katja Heinemann’s Graying of AIDS project

Video program featuring a screening of historian Jennie Brier’s I’m Still Surviving short-film comprised of images and oral-history audio of 14 women, many of whom are mothers, in Chicago who have been living with HIV for, in some cases, over three decades. Also presented will be artist Katja Heinemann’s audio-accompanied slide-show presentation of her ongoing portrait project Stories from a Greying Pandemic, featuring testimony and images of hundreds of adults over 50 living with HIV from over seventeen countries and four indigenous nations, many of whom are parents.
