Celebrate the life of a loved one who died of AIDS-related causes by making a panel to add to the NAMES Project AIDS Memorial Quilt, started in 1987, and now the largest piece of community folk art in the world. The session will be led by Nanica Brown, a longtime volunteer with NAMES Project Chicago and the local chapter representative. Materials will be provided. A second class will take place the two weeks later, February 18, 12-3pm at the Center on Halsted.
